General
Where is Pirates Bay located?
Pirates Bay is located at 5300 East Road in Baytown (at the Wayne Gray Sports Complex), between Garth and North Main.
Does Pirates Bay have life jackets available for use?
Complimentary USCG Approved lifejackets are available for daily use on a first come, first serve basis. Lifejackets range in size from infant (under 30lbs) to adult.
Does Pirates Bay have lockers available?
Lockers are available in a variety of sizes in the front (near Surfside BBQ & Pizza) and back (near Beachside Snack Shack) of the park and range in price from $8 to $12 for daily use. Lockers may be paid for with cash, credit card, or on your mobile phone.
What happens if I lose something at Pirates Bay?
Pirates Bay keeps lost and found items in the First Aid office for 72 hours. Please Email Pirates Bay to identify an item you may have lost at the park.
Does Pirates Bay have a gift shop?
Yes, the Shipwreck Souvenir Shop sells souvenirs, clothing, children's rash guards, sun screen, sun glasses, towels, waterproof phone cases, swim diapers and more.
Is Pirates Bay accessible for the disabled?
Pirates Bay strives to assist guest with disabilities. Please speak to a supervisor about any needs you may have, or call us before your visit at 281-422-1150.
Does Pirates Bay have lifeguards on duty?
Ellis & Associates Licensed Lifeguards are always on duty during operating hours.
Where is First Aid at Pirates Bay?
First Aid is located at the middle of the park near the Beachside Snack Shack. The building is identified with a red First Aid sign.
Does Pirates Bay charge for parking?
No, parking is always free at Pirates Bay.
What if my party gets separated at Pirates Bay?
If you have lost a member of your group, please notify a Supervisor. Supervisors can be identified by their blue polo shirts and radios.
Does Pirates Bay accommodate for food allergies?
As much as we would like to accommodate guests with food allergies, we are not the food manufacturers/suppliers (we get all food and beverage product from third parties), and as such, we regret to inform you that the park cannot, and does not, make any representations or guarantees regarding the allergy-free contents of any foods or beverages. At a minimum, guests with allergy concerns should avoid any foods or beverages unless they are packaged, and you are 100% confident in the manufacturer/supplier which has provided the Park with such food or beverage. Foods that are in any way unpackaged, prepared, or handled by the Park (as opposed to packaged goods, provided to you in a sealed package), have a higher risk of contamination with other products containing allergens.
Does Pirates Bay donate tickets to local organizations?
Local organizations with a 501(c)3 tax exempt form may request donations from Pirates Bay by Emailing Pirates Bay.
Park Policy
May guests bring wagons or strollers into the park?
Wagons, stroller wagons, or carts may not be brought in. Strollers with children are permitted.
Does Pirates Bay have a dress code?
We ask that our Guests dress appropriately for our family environment. Clothing with offensive material, thong bikinis, or other revealing swimwear will not be permitted inside the park. Please refrain from displaying undergarments or wearing low-riding garments. Anyone entering the water or using a Water Park attraction must be attired in a swimsuit and/or rash guard. An appropriate swimsuit is defined as a swim garment with an affixed/sewn inner lining that is marketed and sold as a swimsuit. Inappropriate attire may damage our pumps, attractions, and chemicals. Gym shorts, cotton clothing, denim, and swim wear with zippers, buckles, or rivets are not permitted on Water Park attractions. Lifeguard gear or other insignia is not allowed for liability reasons.
Are children required to wear swim diapers?
Children who wear diapers are required to wear a swim diaper and cover or swimsuit while in the water.
Are outside flotation devices allowed in the park?
We do prioritize safety at the park. All children should be within arms reach of parent or guardian at all times. We provide FREE lifejackets for daily use. You are welcome to bring in a floatation device for your child as long as it is US Coast Guard approved.
Can I bring in toys or sports balls into the park?
Out of concern for the safety of our guests, we do not allow any toys or sporting equipment into the park. Examples: water guns, beach balls, pool noodles, snorkels/masks, baby floats, fins, mermaid tails, sports balls.
Can I bring chairs, tents, or umbrellas into Pirates Bay?
No outside tents, umbrellas, tables, chairs, wagons, stroller wagons, or carts may be brought into the park.
Is smoking/vaping allowed at the park?
Pirates Bay is a smoke-free environment. We ask that guests refrain from both smoking and vaping while on park property, this includes inside the park and outside the front gate area.
Are pets allowed inside of Pirates Bay?
No Animals. Animals of any kind (e.g., dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, lizards, snakes, pigs, hamsters, turtles, birds, tarantulas, rats, mice, monkeys, ferrets, mini-horses, etc.) are not allowed in the park, except for legally-defined service dogs or as may otherwise be required by law to assist those with disabilities (“disabilities” being defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act or other applicable laws). A “service animal” is defined by law, and not by a person’s personal desires. For example, a “companion” animal, or an animal that brings “emotional comfort,” or a dog, which serves as “personal security,” does not qualify as a legal “service animal.”
Do you allow drones in the park?
Use of drones (in, over, or around the waterpark), whether for photographic purposes or otherwise, is strictly prohibited (unless the user has been granted written, contractual permission for that specific instance from an officer of the waterpark). Violations may subject the user to immediate ejection, confiscation of the drone, and referral of the matter to authorities. Drones are a serious safety hazard to ride operations, park operations (including electrical facilities), and to the park’s guests and personnel.
What is Pirates Bay's weather policy?
Pirates Bay will remain open during periods of rain. However, operations will be temporarily suspended if there is lightning or other severe weather conditions in the area. Attractions will re-open as soon as conditions permit. During heavy rain or storms some and/or all slides may be shut down temporarily for your safety. Absolutely no refunds on daily tickets.
Rentals
How do my guests enter Pirates Bay for a party?
All party guests may enter through the rental entrance as long as they know the party host's name and the rental area. Guests must have their tickets with them to enter the park.
Is admission for my guest included in the rental fee?
No, admission to Pirates Bay is not included in the rental fee. Tickets must be purchased separately.
Can I bring in outside food or beverages for my party?
Rental guests may bring in a cake/cupcakes free of charge.
Guests may bring their personal coolers with food and factory-sealed beverages inside the park if they purchase a $30 Cooler Pass at the ticket window or online. The $30 Cooler Ticket is only valid for one use and may enter the park only once.
Coolers must be no larger than 48 quarts. For the safety and cleanliness of our facility, all items brought into the park must fit completely inside your cooler with the lid fully closed. This includes all food and beverages—even dry goods such as bread, chips, and snacks. Loose or unpacked items outside the cooler will not be permitted.
Prohibited items:
- Restaurant food (fast food, pizza, etc)
- Catering & Party Trays
- Glass
- Knives
- Alcohol
All bags and coolers are subject to search at the front gate.
Can Pirates Bay refrigerate/store my cake for my party?
No, due to health considerations Pirates Bay will not be able to refrigerate or store your cake for you.
Can I have decorations? Can I go in early to decorate?
Decorations are allowed in party tents or pavilions that have been rented. Guests may start decorating their area at the specified rental time. Confetti, glitter, party poppers, and silly string are not permitted inside the park.
For my private facility rental, may my guests bring in coolers?
Guests may bring their personal coolers with food and factory-sealed beverages inside the park when purchasing a Cooler Ticket.
Coolers must be no larger than 48 quarts.
For the safety and cleanliness of our facility, all items brought into the park must fit completely inside your cooler with the lid fully closed. This includes all food and beverages—even dry goods such as bread, chips, and snacks. Loose or unpacked items outside the cooler will not be permitted.
Prohibited items:
- Restaurant food (fast food, pizza, etc)
- Catering & Party Trays
- Glass
- Knives
- Alcohol
All bags and coolers are subject to search at the front gate.
Food & Beverage
Are guests allowed to bring outside coolers into the park?
We do allow our guests to bring their personal coolers with food and factory-sealed beverages inside the park if they purchase a $30 Cooler Ticket at the ticket window or online. With the new season pass, guest may add a cooler pass that can be used for the whole summer! The $30 Cooler Ticket is only valid for one use and may enter the park only once.
Coolers must be no larger than 48 quarts. Must close properly & all food & beverage must fit inside.
For the safety and cleanliness of our facility, all items brought into the park must fit completely inside your cooler with the lid fully closed. This includes all food and beverages—even dry goods such as bread, chips, and snacks. Loose or unpacked items outside the cooler will not be permitted.
Prohibited items:
- Restaurant food (fast food, pizza, etc)
- Catering & Party Trays
- Glass
- Knives with blades longer than 5.5"
- Alcohol
All bags and coolers are subject to search at the front gate.
If guests choose to use a food delivery service while at the park, they must pick up and eat the food outside the gates before re-entering.
Are guests allowed to bring a snack inside the park for their toddler?
Yes, a toddler-type snack that is “appropriate” in quantity for the little one during your visit will be allowed inside the park at no charge.
Are guests allowed to bring an unopened water bottle inside the park?
Yes, we do still allow one unopened bottle of water per guest at no charge to enter the park.
You may also bring an empty water bottle to refill at our water fountains located around the park. We also provide free ice water at all of our concession stands for our guests.
Are there picnic tables outside of the park?
Pirates Bay has provided picnic facilities outside of the entrance gate, free of charge. Guests can bring coolers with food and beverages to these locations.
Can I bring in outside food?
We do allow our guests to bring their personal coolers with food and factory-sealed beverages inside the park if they purchase a $30 Cooler Ticket at the ticket window or online. The $30 Cooler Ticket is only valid for one use and may enter the park only once.

Tickets
Does Pirates Bay offer season passes?
Yes! Passes can be purchased on here.
Season Pass: $79.99
Is parking included with Toddler Tuesday admission?
No. Parking is not included with Toddler Tuesday admission and must be purchased separately. All guests visiting the park during Toddler Tuesday are required to pay the standard parking fee, regardless of the event's duration.
How many times may I use my season pass buddy tickets?
Buddy tickets may only be used one time and are only good on general admission days that your pass is valid. Tickets are only valid when accompanied by the season pass holder and expire at the end of each season.
How many times may I use my Combo Meal Token?
Combo meal tokens may only be used one time and are valid at either concession stand.
Do you have discount tickets or coupons available?
Yes we do! Guests that are seniors (65+), active military, or under 42” of height receive a discount. Discounts are not offered online and are only available, after verification, when purchased in-person and at the gate. Discounts cannot be stacked.
How long are my tickets valid?
Tickets are valid for the current season. Online tickets do not guarantee entry for a specific date.
Do guests that choose not to swim still have to pay admission?
All guests entering Pirates Bay must pay the admission fee.
